Specialising in PA, Secretarial and Support recruitment in London
Recruitment is far more than matching CVs with a Job Description. We go above and beyond to provide you with exceptional talent to ensure we get the fit just right.
It’s so important that any recruitment company you choose to work with understands the nuances of your needs, requirements, and aspirations for the new hire. This way they can ensure expectations are managed from both a client and candidate perspective. We have a solid track record with our clients selecting Attic as their sole supplier of choice. We very much pride ourselves on our reputation, repeat business, and building long-term relationships. We take the headache out of office support recruitment. From taking the initial brief, setting up interviews, managing offers, and referencing, we handle it all for you with professionalism and integrity.
OUR PROCESS
Initial Conversation: When you approach Attic with a new vacancy, firstly we need to make sure we are the right people to help. We are great at what we do and know our limits and will tell you if we feel we are not the right recruitment agency for this hire. We will discuss our terms of business with you from the outset so you feel equipped to understand how we operate.
Meeting: Your dedicated consultant will arrange either a face to face or Zoom/Teams meeting, ideally with the person the new recruit would be working for. We will explore the role in more detail, understand the key competencies required and above all ensure whoever we place with you is a great match for the boss and company culture.
Candidate Search: Our experienced consultants will then conduct a thorough search of our established database which has been built up over 21 years. Our candidate pool to choose from is rich and diverse. If for any reason we need a very specialised skillset, we will go outside of our existing network either via advertising on our website or other job boards (all anonymous so no breach of client confidentiality) or we will make direct approaches and head hunt specific individuals.
Vetting process: Each candidate highlighted as appropriate for the role will then be called by your consultant to assess their capability and availability for the position. If they are new to Attic, the candidate will be thoroughly interviewed prior to discussing the position. Each candidate will be assessed on their fit for the role, focusing on their experience, career aspirations, culture fit and behaviours – all of which are matched to the original brief.
Shortlist: Your consultant will then provide a shortlist with CVs and resumes on each candidate, all of whom will have been briefed on your position. The additional “Attic” resume provides further details on the candidates’ behaviours, skills, aspirations, salary and notice period. Our aim is always to provide you with a shortlist of candidates that you will have trouble choosing between. After all you have come to us to save time.
Interview management: Once you have selected the candidates you would like to interview, we organise all the rounds of interviews you have within your recruitment process. The candidate will be fully briefed on the interview process and any preparation needed. We will also handle setting up video links, feedback and follow ups on your behalf.
Offer and start date: You will be made aware at the shortlist stage of salary expectations and notice periods so when you decide to offer, Attic will negotiate the suitable package, organise referencing and provide you with all the necessary Right To Work checks. The relationship we forge with our clients and candidates is at the core of our business. Your consultant will remain in contact with both you and the candidate until their start date as well as their first few months and then at regular intervals over the coming years.
