Housekeeper / Cook

We are seeking a professional Housekeeper / Cook to join a private household, maintaining the impeccable upkeep of a Grade II listed property and assisting in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping: Cleaning, upkeep, and laundry duties
• Cooking: Covering for the chef 2-3 days per week, preparing light meals (mostly plant-based, chicken, and fish) for 1-3 adults
• Service: Informal buffet-style service; formal table setting and service for events
• Errands: Shopping, dry cleaning, and other ad hoc duties

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in private households, superyachts, or 5* hotels
• Discreet, professional, and proactive with an eye for detail
• Holds a clean driving licence and able to commute to the property in Henley-on-Thames
• Flexible and able to work weekends (1-2 per month) on a rota

Schedule & Salary:

• 5 days on, 2 days off (rota shift)
• 8am – 5pm (occasional 11am – 8pm for events)
• Up to £50,000 (negotiable based on experience)
