Housekeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and discreet Housekeeper with private household experience to join a prestigious estate in Berkshire. Flexibility to assist occasionally at a London property is appreciated. This role offers variety and the chance to work within a professional and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness, including laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management.
• Polishing silver, caring for antiques, and maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Assist with shopping, errands, and household inventories alongside the head housekeeper.
• Support the butler with some household duties as required.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Previous experience in private households is essential.
• A good team player with attention to detail and a discreet approach.
• Knowledge of silver service is a bonus (training provided).
• UK driving licence preferred but not essential.

Additional Information:

• Must be willing to work weekends when the family is in residence.
• 40-hour working week averaged over the year.
